Overview
SchoolControl® was a standardized B2B SaaS platform for schools: multi-tenant and multi-user, with one product base for many schools. The customer was the school: administrators and teachers were the main operational users, while families mainly received and checked information. Arali and Rubén founded it, ran it, and the company was later acquired.
Previous Situation
As adoption grew across schools, the existing tools made it difficult to maintain clarity, track student engagement, and keep all stakeholders aligned.
The Challenge
Schools were running communication, administration, and payments across fragmented channels (WhatsApp, email, paper notices) that created noise, duplicated work, and missed information.
Our Approach
We mapped the full communication journey between parents, teachers, and school admins to identify friction points, stoppers and opportunities for automation.
SchoolControl® simplifies K-12 communication by uniting parents, teachers, and administrators on one platform built for clarity, connection, and continuous improvement.
Research & Discovery
Qualitative interviews and in-app analytics revealed three key needs: a single source of truth, simpler mobile access, and a clear alert system for what matters today.
